As a neonatologist, I take care of babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. I trained at Duke University Medical Center, am double board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine and work at Cone Health in North Carolina.

As a writer, I am fascinated by the way stories shape our lives, bind us together, and make the world what it is. I believe that stories can help us notice the magic of daily moments, mitigate physician burnout and infuse medical practice with empathy and humanism.
